The Danish Association of Family Farms

The Danish Association of Family Farms was founded in 1941 with the purpose of maintaining Danish family farms within close relatives’ ownership.
It is also a cultural addendum for the ordinary professional agricultural organisations with their aims at qualified political agricultural relationship.

Through Jens and Anna Jensen’s Foundation The Danish Association of Family Farms is annually able to hand over scholarships to young students wishing to work or study agriculture in foreign countries.

The Danish Association of Family Farms maintains an archive, The Danish Archive of Family Farms, which now is situated at the compound of Danish National Agriculture Museum. Many research workers of local history or national history are frequent visitors at the archive.

Through consultants in real estate and farm business the members of The Danish Association of Family Farms can be advised in connection with sale, preparing of wills and granting loans.

The Danish Association of Family Farms is the publisher of a journal “Slægtsgården”.

The Danish Association of Family Farms is run by a head organisation with local divisions that arrange meetings and visits.

The Danish Association of Family Farms recruits new members among anybody with interest for the work of the association.
